Ellenz Of Tipton isn’t just another carpet store. Dave and Carolyn Ellenz started their business as Ellenz Cabinet and Supply in the late 1960’s and grew the business into one of the largest flooring stores in the North Central Kansas. The business, located just outside the City of Tipton on the west side of Highway 181, is framed by a limestone retaining wall leading to the showroom and adjoining warehouses. Ellenz of Tipton has over 80 rolls of carpet, 60 rolls of vinyl, and pallets of ceramic tile and hardwood filling these warehouses with quality flooring at low prices that beat any area competitor. In 2000, Lanette Marshall bought the business from the Ellenz’s and with her husband Jim runs the business with the same principles as Dave and Carolyn.
